Our Private Care service is the most successful NHS private patient unit in the UK, reinvesting income back into the Trust to benefit all patients.
We are seeking a highly skilled, strategically minded Senior Digital Manager (Private Care) to lead the development, optimisation and continuous improvement of our Private Care digital presence. This role is central to enhancing our brand, strengthening referrer and patient engagement, and supporting commercial growth.
As the digital lead for Private Care, you will own the strategy, performance and evolution of the Private Care website and associated digital products. You'll champion UX, user centred design, accessibility and data driven improvement, ensuring our digital channels offer an exceptional experience to patients, families, clinicians, referrers and international partners--particularly in the Middle East.
You will work closely with senior leaders, the wider Digital, Marketing, Communications and PR teams, and external partners, helping to position The Royal Marsden Private Care as the first choice provider of private cancer care globally.
Main duties of the job
The Royal Marsden Private Care's digital presence is central to our reputation, brand engagement, and private patient acquisition. Our website is the first point of contact for private patients and referrers, driving demand for private care services.This role will lead the strategic development, optimisation, and ongoing management of the Private Care website and associated digital products. There is a particular emphasis on user experience (UX), user-centred design, content and continuous improvement. The post-holder will ensure that Private Care digital channels are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the needs of patients, families, referrers, and partners. They will drive digital excellence, enhance the Private Care brand online, and work to deliver against our commercial objectives, supporting revenue growth through effective digital engagement, in the UK and internationally (predominantly the Middle East).This role includes dotted-line management responsibilities and requires close, collaborative working relationships with colleagues across the digital, PR and communications and marketing teams.
