This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment.About Markus Ward:Markus Ward is an 8-bed, Private Patient medical oncology unit specializing in the delivery of inpatient chemotherapy and the management of cancer-related symptoms. We pride ourselves on offering personalized care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout all stages of their cancer journey. This role will enable the post holder to develop strong competencies in symptom management and palliative care, whilst also recognising and providing care for acutely unwell patients, such as those experiencing neutropenic sepsis.Role and Responsibilities:As a Band 5 Nurse, you will:o Deliver high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism.o Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance the patient experience.o Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.o Demonstrate flexibility, commitment, and a strong work ethic.

Main duties of the job
- To plan, document, deliver and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients in a responsible and efficient way, which has been drawn up in conjunction with the co-ordinator of the shift
- To develop a greater awareness and understanding of the needs of patients with cancer and the different treatment modalities administered within the unit.
- To develop an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of managing a shift with the guidance of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.
