Job summary
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe and a leader in the field of cancer care with a successful record of innovation in nursing care, pioneering new treatments and the development of anti-cancer drugs.
This important role involves the day-to-day operational management of the Cancer Services Division, PA and secretarial services. This role is focussed primarily on the services delivered on the Sutton site however, the post holder will work closely and provide cross cover for the Chelsea site post holder. In addition to operational management, the post holder will lead key service improvements aimed at delivering a high quality, comprehensive administrative service.
Main duties of the job
The Administration Business Manager reports to the Deputy Clinical Business Unit Manager and is responsible for the management of all medical secretary and administration staff within the Cancer Services division.
There are two Administration Business Managers - one for the Sutton site and one for the Chelsea site and they are responsible for line managing the medical secretary team leads on each site.

- ECDL qualification or equivalent qualification/experience - able to set up spreadsheets and documents as well as input data onto pre-prepared spreadsheets and word documents
