Job summary

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager role within the Royal Marsden Finance Team. This role sits within the Corporate Services Finance Team and reports into the Divisional Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and driven individuals to progress their career within the NHS and to make a real impact. You will be joining a collaborative, hardworking and inclusive Finance department who encourage development and high standards.This role will be responsible for providing high-quality, timely and accurate financial management information to a range of corporate departments/functions. You will be a key point of contact within the team for budget holders and service managers. You will also provide support and input to quarterly forecasts and annual business plans, projects, business cases and service developments.The successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationship both internally within Finance and with business stakeholders. Main duties of the job

To provide an efficient and professional management accounting service to Departments within the Divisions/Directorates and the Trust.The postholder will be responsible for producing reports, projections and analysis and will liaise with budget holders and other managers to generate "intelligence" to support forecasting and the medium term business planning process.
