Pathology Operations Manager (Band 8c) - The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a widely experienced Pathology Operations Manager to ensure effective and efficient operational, and strategic delivery of our world-class pathology services. Main duties of the job
The Pathology Operations Manager plays a key role in overseeing operations, ensuring financial efficiency, and driving service improvement:
o Operational management - Ensure the timely and efficient provision of high-performance pathology serviceso Strategic management - Leading on strategy delivery for pathology services, promoting innovation, quality, opportunities for commercial development and operational excellenceo Stakeholder engagement - Collaborating with clinicians, internal and external partnerso Workforce - Ensuring key performance indicators, service level agreements, and financial targets are met. Delivering a recruitment and retention strategy
What We Are Looking Foro Proven experience in pathology operational management within the NHS or healthcare sector.o Strong leadership skills with a track record of delivering services that meet regulatory compliance and clinical requirementso Ability to manage change, negotiate at a senior level, and lead projects that improve efficiency and cost-effectivenesso Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex business cases and stakeholder engagement
