Our hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton offer both NHS and private patients, inpatient and outpatient care for solid tumours and haemato-oncology cancers, including transplants, chemotherapy and clinical trials.We have optimised our Band 6 clinical pharmacist programme to focus on patient facing clinical aspects of pharmacy care. This exciting opportunity is to join a team of specialist pharmacists concentrating on providing the best possible ward based pharmaceutical care.Our department strategy is focussed on providing a pioneering and compassionate service while embedding enhanced roles for pharmacy technicians and a maximised non-medical prescribing workforce.
Main duties of the job
To provide nationally leading, cutting edge, pharmacy and medicines optimisation services to all patients so they receive best, personalised, safe care on time. - To provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, contributing to the multidisciplinary team for clinical units as required, through ward pharmacy services.
