The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative support for clinical research operations within the department. This can include the coordination of meetings internally as well as with external partners, providing administrative support to the research funding function of the department.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Research Coordinator will be a member of the BRC team and will provide administrative support to the clinical research business of The Royal Marsden and the Institute of Cancer Research.

The post holder will be responsible for the efficient administrative support for meetings/committees/for a related to the research funding team and a number of research programmes such as the Oncology Translational Research Collaboration, Cancer Treatment Effects BRC Theme, the National Cancer Rehabilitation Collaborative, in addition to other duties / responsibilities commensurate with the role and banding, including managing databases and finance invoices.

The post holder will work at all times with a high degree of discretion and initiative, respecting confidentiality of information. The post holder will frequently be the first point of contact for key stakeholders and will develop excellent working relationships both internally and externally.
