Job summary
We are looking for a GP Liaison Officer to join our GP Liaison and Corporate Team within the Private Care Division. This is a key role in actively promoting and marketing private care services to GP practices, corporates and other key healthcare organisations and professionals across London and Surrey.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Private Care team in supporting continuous growth. This role will be pivitol in promoting The Royal Marsden's services and in particular our private diagnostic and treatment and care services at our Sutton, Surrey hospital site.
Being a part of the team, you will be responsible for assisting the growth in engagement, activity and revenue from private GPs across key areas. The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional approach and have excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong and longstanding relationships with our external stakeholders.
The post holder will be mainly based at our Sutton site, but will be expected to travel across London and the Surrey regions as well as being office based across all the Trust's locations.

Main duties of the job
- You will be responsible for assisting the Senior GP Liaison and Corporate Manager in driving growth in private GP activity and revenue for The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust across London and Surrey, but with a key focus on geographies around our Sutton, Surrey hospital
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with GPs throughout London and Surrey to strengthen and maintain our GP network through excellent face to face communication, attending events and ongoing correspondence
- The post holder will be expected to travel to GP practices across these regions as well as being office based across the various hospital sites
- You will work closely with the marketing team to organise a calendar of GP events, requiring flexibility to work on occasional evenings, breakfast meetings and Saturdays as required
- You will be responsible for assisting the Senior GP Liaison and Corporate Manager where needed to grow our Corporate Client activities
