Job summary

Outpatients are seeking an enthusiastic Team Lead to help maintain the efficient administration in their departments at our Sutton Site. This post is vital to the smooth running of the main outpatient clinics. You will work in a busy environment, providing a reception service for patients and relatives. The role also includes preparing medical records for the consultant's clinics. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you should possess excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and organisational skills. Keyboard/IT skills are essential and hospital experience is desirable.

Main duties of the job

The Team Lead is a member of the Outpatient/RDC Administrative Team, covering the clinics, preparation and reception areas. They will adopt a professional and caring attitude with a polite and courteous manner in all aspects of communication. A uniform will be worn at all times to ensure a neat and professional appearance.

The post holder will support the Manager whilst providing a supervisory role to the OPD/RDC Administration Officers.
