Job summary
Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow in Histopathology. This post is for 1 year fixed term with a view to extending.
Applicants must be eligible for full GMC registration.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will undertake a range of Histopathology duties under the supervision of the lead Education Supervisor and relevant Histopathology Consultants.

- Full registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- MBBS or equivalent
Desirable
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent qualification
- Higher Degree (MD/PhD)
Experience

- Minimum of 3 years postgraduate training in the UK (or equivalent EEA training)
- Previous experience relevant to the specialty
- 4 or more years training in histopathology
- Clinical governance / audit experience
- Experience in making clinical decisions and managing risk
