Are you a dedicated Allied Health Professional seeking a part-time role or a secondment opportunity in a respected healthcare setting? The Royal Marsden Hospital, voted as an outstanding trust by the Care Quality Commission, invites applications for positions in a groundbreaking frailty project for the Southwest London Integrated Care System. The Head of Therapy & Rehabilitation co-chairs the frailty network for SWL ICS. We are currently seeking three part time (0.4 WTE) band 7s position for a Dietitian, an Occupational Therapist, and a Physiotherapist for 5 months each.
In these roles, you will be at the forefront of the frailty project, working collaboratively with the Southwest London Integrated Care System frailty and proactive care team to enhance the quality of life for our patients. You will be assisting on the refining and implementation of a frailty care framework for the system.
Main duties of the job
This role is hosted by the RMH, as the Head of Therapy, is the allied health professionals (AHP) lead for the Southwest London (SWL) Integrated Care System (ICS).
The post-holder will bring experience of working with frailty patients, service evaluation, re-design and improvement methodologies and will be confident in working across organisational boundaries to deliver projects to time and budget.
The post-holder will provide hands on support with the development of a frailty prevention service for SWL community. This involves close collaboration with the SWL frailty network, chaired by the SWL AHP lead.
This role involves the co-ordination and delivery of a program of service projects including development of processes and protocols to support the operational and clinical delivery of frailty reduction and prevention.
The post-holder will be expected to operate effectively in a flexible and demanding environment and will be responsible for the delivery of the agreed projects.
We are a flexible working trust, and this role can a mixture of working site and home-based. It will involve travel to SWL organisations that delivers a frailty service.
This can be a secondment role, for 5 months, and you will require support from your manager.
