SUB-SPECIALTY TRAINEE
IN GYNAECOLOGICAL ONCOLOGY
Site: Chelsea
Hours: 40 hours per week plus on calls
Length of contract: 2 or 3 years (depending on research exempt)
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for RCOG accredited Sub-specialty Trainee in Gynaecological Oncology at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London.
This exciting role provides comprehensive training in the surgical management of gynaecological malignancies, together with non-surgical management including medical oncology, radiotherapy and palliative care. The successful candidate will work with an experienced and supportive team in a world-renowned cancer hospital. Research experience in the field is essential and MD or PhD is an advantage. The post is approved for Subspecialty Training in Gynaecological Oncology by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists.
Candidates must have completed at least ST5 with a satisfactory ARCP outcome, or equivalent. Trainees need to bring their own NTN number. If applying from outside the Deanery, approval for Out of Programme Training must be obtained, and candidates should discuss their application with their Training Programme Director prior to application.

- MRCOG or European CCST

- Basic gynaecological oncology training
