Job summary
Applications are invited for a 9PA Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist for Children, Young People & Adult Haematology & Lymphoma to work on the Sutton site of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, with commitments at the St Georges site on alternate weeks and MDT attendance.

It is acknowledged to be one of the largest comprehensive Cancer Centres in the world. We have one of the largest stem cell transplant services for patients with malignant disease in the UK.
The Children and Young People's (CYP) Unit is one of the largest centres in the UK for clinical services to children and young people with leukaemia, solid tumours and brain tumours, with a comprehensive stem cell transplantation programme as well as a dedicated centre for paediatric drug development.
The Unit works jointly with St George's Hospital to provide a comprehensive service to children with malignancy including specialised paediatric and surgical services and intensive care support as required. The clinical oncology service for children and young people with malignancy has a significant international reputation and has an established record in innovative radiotherapy techniques.
Main duties of the job
This post provides consultant level provision of outpatient clinics, MDT meetings, radiotherapy planning and supervision to both children, teenagers and young adults (TYA), and adult haematology and lymphoma patients, plus chemotherapy delivery and supervision for TYA neuro-oncology patients,
In order to fulfil the responsibilities of this post you must be eligible for full GMC registration. Applicants will have their CCT in Clinical Oncology or be within 6 months of obtaining it. The post holder will be expected to have MRCP and FRCR or equivalent. Applicants would be expected to have broad-based experience in radiotherapy and a relevant interest in clinical research.
