Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Occupational Health Administrator at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
You will contribute to thethe efficient running of the Occupational Health Department by providing reception and administrator support to the multi-disciplinary team. You will have experience of working on a reception including diary management and experience of dealing with the public.
The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with all key stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
To contribute to the efficient running of the Occupational Health Department by providing reception and administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team and to meet the agreed quality standards set by the Department, helping to maintain high standards of customer care.

- At all times to maintain confidentiality of information provided either in person or information that is available within occupational health.
- To answer all enquiries from patients, staff and public pleasantly, efficiently and effectively either face to face or on the telephone.
- To obtain accurate information from clients (ensuring that any messages are passed on to relevant member of OH team in a timely fashion) in order to ensure that all enquiries are dealt with as efficiently as possible.
- To make appointments for Trust staff (and staff of external organisations with whom the Trust has SLAs) in line with organizational and departmental policies and protocols i.e. Pre-employment screening, Hepatitis B and Management Referrals.
- To ensure client details are recorded accurately on the Occupational Health software. To manage appointments diaries for OH consultant, medical, nursing arranging meetings/appointments on request.
- To liaise with other administrative staff to order supplies and arrange repairs of office equipment in line with Trust procedures.
- Photocopy standard documents for the Occupational Health team, ensuring standard letters and other documents are available at all times.
- To open all incoming post and ensure it is delivered to relevant people without delay.
