This post will give the successful applicant the opportunity to develop skills around all aspects of stroke care from the hyperacute stage including thrombolysis and thrombectomy through to rehabilitation and discharge. There will be the opportunity to contribute regularly to TIA clinics. The stroke unit has an active governance and teaching programme which the post holder will be expected to contribute towards.
