Limb Reconstruction Fellowship

Job summary

Structured post CCT fellowship training in Limb Reconstruction Surgery. This post is designed to be a stepping-stone towards a consultant career.

Post vacant from 07 October 2026 to 05 October 2026.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic team-player who would like to increase their knowledge and skills around in their chosen subspecialty area of trauma and orthopaedic surgery. To get maximum benefit, they should already be competent at routine hand, hip or knee surgery as dictated by the role. They must have current ATLS and should have FRCS (Tr and Orth). Post holders with CCT may be given some independent operating lists.

During clinical time, the post holders will act as senior clinical fellows in T&O, forming part of the registrar/fellow cohort. They must be flexible in working across both sites as this is to ensure exposure to a wider case-mix and able to support the on-call service at RSCH Major Trauma Centre when required.

  • oHigher Degree

  • Competencies equivalent to completion of ST6, as a minimum
