Main duties of the job

Responsible for ensuring the administrative and clerical work related to patient careare competently managed. To provide and effecting day-to-day clerical support tofacilitate the smooth running of the ward alongside the ward manager and seniorcolleagues. This job role covers clerical duties meeting and greeting staff, patientsand visitors answering the telephone and dealing with all enquires.Ensure that all paper and computer stored data surrounding a patient episode iscompleted accurately and promptly. Input, update and monitor patient confidentialinformation on Careflow alongside other Trust systems.To deal efficiently and in professional manner enquires from both patients and staffinternally and externally.
