Job summary

NHS England funds the Internal Medicine Strategic Network (IMSN). We are in the early stages of building a skilled, multidisciplinary team to lead transformation across specialised services. This is a formative phase that offers the opportunity to help shape how the Strategic Network operates and delivers impact across Cardiac, Renal, and Vascular Operational Delivery Networks.

Main duties of the job

The Strategic Network Administrator provides comprehensive administrative coordination for Strategic Network and Operational Delivery Network activity. You will be the operational hub for meetings, documentation, events, and communication across specialised services.

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including English and Mathematics.
  • Relevant administrative or business qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration) are desirable.

Desirable

  • Courses / further study to show evidence of personal development.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the NHS or a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in handling queries, managing documentation, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordinating complex data collection and validation processes.
  • Experience in managing multiple mailboxes.
  • Proved organisational and planning skills, formal minute-taking.
  • Experience in reviewing and developing administrative processes and procedures.
  • Proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer care.
