Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, nurse with a passion for cardiology to join our committed team on the Acute Cardiac Unitin the Specialist Medicine Division.
ACU is a 27bedded Cardiac Unit. Should you be successful you will work within a specialised area, providing high quality care to patients with a variety of cardiac conditions including heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, myocardial infarction, valve disease and endocarditis. Working within this specialty you will be expected to take on extended roles associated with the specialism.

Main duties of the job
- To set and maintain high standards of nursing practice ensuring patients needs are met.
- To work effectively within the multidisciplinary team.
- To participate in ward rounds, ensuring effective methods of communication.
- To contribute to an effective learning environment and participate in own continual professional development
