Job summary
Working closely with the Lead Nurse for Thrombosis and Anticoagulation Services you will be able to deputise, as required, to ensure the operational maintenance and strategic leadership for the Thrombosis and Anticoagulation services across the Trust.
This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000), and any role-specific criteria.
Main duties of the job
- Provide empowering, engaging and inclusive nurse leadership for the thrombosis and anticoagulation nursing team, inclusive of all other healthcare professionals and professional bodies in the management of patients undergoing treatment within this specialism
- Lead and manage the nurse-led outpatient clinic and act as an expert resource and advisor to other health care professionals whilst being actively involved in the development and training of the Thrombosis and Anticoagulation nurses.
- Provide up to date, evidence based, clinical Thrombosis and Anticoagulation advice and guidance to all service users and stakeholders within your specialist area. Prescribe within your specialist field as required for your patient cohort.
