We have a great opportunity to work as a Ward Administrator at Princess Royal Hospital Haywards Heath

There are part timepositions availablewhere the candidate will work across different inpatient wards providing a focused administration service within the Clinical Administration Inpatients department at thePrincess Royal Hospital

31 Hours - Monday- Sunday 0730-1545 x4 days per week - based on a rota schedule

22.5 hours - Monday Tuesday and Wednesday 0800-1600

Successful candidates will be honest, confident, have excellent communication skills, and be successful when prioritising their workload.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a flexible, dynamic, and motivated ward administrator for our fast paced and friendly Inpatient Team to help ensure adequate coverage of duties across a defined group of wards and departments. You will be working to ensure the efficient and timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, dealing with patients' medical notes and being responsible for the accurate and timely input of information into our PAS system for the purposes of patient care and data quality.

Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions)

We may also use this advert to build our Bank staff. If you are unsuccessful at interview for a substantive role but meet the BSUH standards you may be offered a bank post.
