Main duties of the job

The post will focus on providing direct clinical care and meeting service delivery - out-patient clinics, surgical duties/lists, MDT meetings, as well as delivering appropriate teaching, training and supervision of other members of staff, and giving the post holder the opportunity to undertake wider professional activities and additional NHS responsibilities such as management roles.

  • oBasic medical degree qualification
  • oFull GMC Registration with a licence to practice
  • oFour years post-graduation - foundation year training completed

Desirable

  • Experience in breast surgery

  • oEvidence of experience in all aspects breast assessment, diagnosis with interpretation of investigations
  • oEvidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues

  • oExperience of breast surgery
