Service Manager - Sexual Health West

Job summary

This is a 9 month fixed term contract post whilst the service undergoes tender for renewal of contract. This is an ideal post for somebody looking for service manager experience or is looking to widen their current skills as a service manager in a post that crosses both primary and secondary care as well as wider health outreach and promotion. You will be responsible for operational matters in the Integrated Sexual Health Services West across all 3 of our main sites in Worthing, Chichester and Crawley as well as our 2 spoke sites in Bognor Regis and Horsham with your main base being in Worthing.

Main duties of the job

The role is responsible for a range of professional leadership duties including the operational management of waiting times and clinic capacity and demand within their designated area of responsibility as well as ensuring that administrative processes are co-ordinated and managed to deliver both governance and performance functions.

The post holder will take overall accountability for the Service Clinical Information System and Service Information Governance.

The post holder will be responsible for the coordination and review of performance monitoring, clinical governance reporting, project work and the development of business plans/production of reports as required. They will be required to take remedial action where necessary, suggest improvements and propose and implement new ways of working. They will be expected to identify new business opportunities and actively take forward with the Directorate team.
