Job summary
This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000), and any role-specific criteria.
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Nurse Manager to join our team within the cancer division, the post will be managing the haematology and oncology day units at Royal Sussex County and Princess Royal Hospitals
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate as we move towards planning for the opening of our new cancer hospital which is forecast for 2028.
Main duties of the job
To provide clinical excellence, leadership, innovation through highly developed specialist knowledge of haematology / oncology and systemic anti cancer treatments.
Providing specialist information and support for patients and carers attending the day units and being cared for in the acute setting.
The role requires sensitive communication to support patients with and their families through treatment pathways
