Join our dynamic UHSx Homecare team as a Clinical Support Pharmacist, where you'll have the unique opportunity to develop as an independent prescriber while engaging in embedded practice rotations within various specialist clinical teams such as rheumatology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and neurology. Main duties of the job
- Communication Skills:Exceptional ability to deliver standardized patient communication, manage complex clinical discussions, and develop training programs. Adept at handling sensitive information and negotiations in challenging environments.
- Clinical Expertise:Strong background in clinical pharmacy, with a focus on high-cost medications, and the ability to provide specialist counseling and therapeutic advice.
- Operational Management:Capable of taking operational responsibility for key services, demonstrating political judgement, and producing complex reports.
- Service Delivery and Improvement:Proficiency in evaluating and prescribing high-cost medicines, supporting research programs, managing data, and advocating for patients.
- People Management: Leadership and management skills, especially in supervising teams and coordinating panels, with a focus on training and development.
