Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Vascular Assessment Unit (VAU) at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our team of eight qualified vascular scientists, two trainee vascular scientists and our administration team. This bank post involves cross-site working covering ourhub site based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, as well as Worthing, Southlands, Princess Royal and Eastbourne hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The role assumes a high degree of autonomy and independence to undertake and report on a full range of specialist vascular science diagnostic investigations. The role also provides clinical scientific support to healthcare professionals, such as vascular surgery and other specialties, and carries out other duties in line with the full job description.
