Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic nurse with Cardiac Catheter Lab experience who is looking to further their career and develop their leadership and clinical skills.
The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a busy environment and has excellent interpersonal and clinical skills. We have a busy recovery day case area and two cardiac catheter labs. We provide interventional, pacing and electrophysiology cover and are looking to expand and develop our current service.
Opportunities will be available to develop your clinical, supervision and leadership skills. The Trust is very supportive of ongoing professional development. You will be supported to access regular CPD through in-house and external courses/modules in order to continue to develop and expand your clinical and professional skills.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be a proficient clinical practitioner who will be able to lead, influence and deliver effective care working in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team. We strive to provide high quality, effective and compassionate care to individuals, their families, and carer. The successful candidate will ensure that individualised care is provided through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in line with Trust policies and procedures, National guidelines, and Trust values and behaviours.
This is a leadership role, and the successful candidate will support the Cardiac Catheter Lab Manager, acting as a role model, and undertake delegated responsibility in their absence to provide effective clinical leadership that ensures quality person-centred care. They will possess excellent communication skills and ensure the safe and efficient management of the service/department within allocated resources. They will support and facilitate the development of all the staff within the team, acting as a role model.
