Job summary

Note; PICC placement, use of IC ECG and ultrasound are essential to this post.

Main duties of the job

Provide specialist nursing care to adult in-patients requiring IV therapy.

To assess individuals for appropriate vascular access devices and insert them as required to ensure effective delivery of IV therapy (PICCs/Midlines/PVCs)

Competent in use of ultrasound scan, IC ECG, expert PICC and midline placement essential.
