Band 7 renal and diabetes dietitian, 1.00 WTE fixed term, 12 months
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated dietitian to join our friendly team working at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
This role offers a unique opportunity to specialize in both renal and antenatal diabetes care, providing comprehensive nutritional support to our patients.
Previous experience in renal dietetics is highly desirable for this post.
Your learning needs are very important to us and we are able to support with any additional training that you require.
Main duties of the job
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will take the lead and demonstrate an advanced level of expertise . You will play a key role in the nutritional management these patient groups and will provide advice, education and support to patients, carers and other health professionals.
In addition you will actively be involved in the trusts clinical governance programme and quality framework agenda by taking lead responsibility for ensuring continuing professional development, audit and research activities within this specialist area.
