Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Personal Assistant and Team Co-ordinator, to provide high quality administrative support to the Commercial Directorate

The post holder will manage the smooth running of the Procurement and Commercial Team, ensuring the highest standard of business support. The post holder will also have the opportunity to support specific commercial projects including preparing and circulating projects reports and maintaining action logs.

Recent experience in an administrative role in a fast paced complex environment is essential. A willingness to learn, explore new areas and enhance your skills is also essential as our work is varied and diverse.

Main duties of the job

This is a challenging role which requires someone with excellent organisational skills who is used to dealing with conflicting priorities. Diary management is a key part of the role so applicants must have previous experience in the co-ordination and planning of complex activities.

You will have excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and with key external stakeholders. The aptitude to work on your own initiative and the ability to prioritise your work effectively, whilst handling a busy team, is essential as you will be required to manage large volumes of work with a very fast turnaround.

You will be required to prepare communications and presentations to a high standard, so an excellent working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentational software is required along with the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Applicants will need to have experience of working in a busy organisation and servicing of meetings including preparing and distributing agenda papers and taking and producing accurate high quality minutes and action points.
