Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Departments as temporary (Bank) staff. This provides opportunities to experience our departments without committing to a permanent role. We can provide flexibility in days and hours available up to 37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

To support University Hospitals Sussex Pharmacy team at RSCH (Brighton) or PRH (Haywards Heath) in the provision ofcomprehensive Pharmacy services to patients and to other local healthcare providers, against negotiated contracts.The post holder will be expected to work closely with team members to deliver senior-level clinical Pharmacy services to wards and departments across varying specialities and contribute to other pharmacy services including: the supply of medicines for inpatients, outpatients and for discharge, the provision of medicines information and advice to multidisciplinary teams and to patients and their carers,drug expenditure reporting, handling safety quality and governance issues, audit, the teaching, training and management of Pharmacy staff and, medicines related research & development activities. Non-medical prescribing qualifications will be utilised where appropriate.

Separate positions are available at our sites in Worthing, Chichester, Brighton and Haywards Heath each offering up to up to 37.5h per week (1.0WTE) over 7 days.
