We have an exciting opportunity to join the Resourcing team as a Resourcing Coordinator We are looking for to recruit an administrator who is passionate about customer service and has an eye for attention to detail.
We are looking for the right person with the enthusiasm, expertise and skills to support recruiting managers
Key areas of responsibility for the role will include:
- Supporting with administrative processes including arranging interviews and processing offers and contracts
- Co-ordinating and administering pre-employment checks and clearances
- Meeting targets and KPI's
- Daily key management of Resourcing Administrators
You will need to be used to carrying out an administration role in a fast paced environment, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and good administrative, IT and organisational skills.
The successful applicants would be based at either St Richards Hospital in Chichester or Princess Royal in Hayward Heath with occasional travel across all University hospitals Sussex Sites.
We offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days on site and 2 days working from home. However the days working from home may vary due to the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive recruitment service to Recruiting Managers, Employees, Applicants and Candidates, ensuring that recruitment is undertaken in a timely and professional way having regard for cost, quality and Trust policy.
To working closely with Recruiting Manager and Service Leads to deliver their workforce recruitment business plans.
To assist, develop and supervise the Resourcing Administrators to ensure KPI targets are met. With the support of the Resourcing Team Managers to manage the Resourcing Administrators informal absence including annual leave in line with Trust policies and procedures, whilst considering service needs.

- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience
- Good working and practical knowledge or range of recruitment approaches and their appropriateness for specific needs
- Up to date knowledge of recruitment employment law and requirements for pre-employment screening including immigration, references and DBS
- Previous experience in an NHS HR or recruitment environment
- Knowledge of NHS Employment Standards
Desirable
- Knowledge of NHS terms and conditions for Staff
- Experience of working in Recruitment/Resourcing
- Worked as a recruiter in a complex organisation
