Job summary
You will be educated to degree level or have achieved through practical experience in a technical construction related discipline with a wide range of highly specialised knowledge with regards to Autodesk AutoCAD and have clear evidence of continuing professional development. You will have a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering minor projects in complex environments on time and to delegated budgets, utilising NEC and/or JCT contractual frameworks, and have proven skills in effective people management, communication and understand the importance of stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of technical and regulatory standards and work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including clinicians, local authorities, design teams and contractors.
Main duties of the job
Management of AutoCAD and Drawing Library
To provide a specialist service producing AutoCAD drawings through interpretation of verbal instructions, sketches, specifications, surveys etc., including architectural & building services disciplines
Surveys & Estate Records
To provide professional and technical advice and guidance regarding AutoCAD systems and related software
Project Work
Development of various design options with clients regarding minor building works and space planning reconfigurations
