This is a new substantive LTFT post consisting of 6PAs, for a Consultant Respiratory Physician with general medical accreditation. The successful applicant will join our friendly, dynamic team of respiratory consultants providing both general and specialist respiratory services based at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester. They will also contribute to the acute medical take rota.
The appointed candidate will join a growing Respiratory Department and work alongside our team of dedicated administrative staff, respiratory physiologists, chronic respiratory physiotherapists, respiratory and TB nurses, lung care nurses and our oxygen team. The post holder will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our future Respiratory service at UHS West which will include dedicated respiratory high care, specialist respiratory on-call and a comprehensive respiratory integrated care service.

Essential
- Basic medical degree
- MRCP or appropriate specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- CCT in Respiratory Medicine or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
Desirable
- Higher Degree (MD or PhD equivalent)
