- Possibility to combine role with adult services to make full time position (please specify in your application if you wish for full time hours and to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays on adult wards)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the existing, inclusive and dedicated team at The Royal Alexandra Hospital.
The Pharmacy Technician team at UHSussex is a growing, dynamic and skilled workforce, with the successful candidate joining a unified and developing team of 150+ Pharmacy Technicians and Assistant Technical Officers across multiple sites.
The successful candidate can expect a supported induction period, training and development opportunities, clear leadership and management, including governance and structures and an expanding health and wellbeing focus to support a highly engaged technical workforce
On two days a week you may experience work in Women's and Children's health. You will be assigned a practice supervisor and your development will be supported using our internal appraisal system with your designated educational supervisor.
Main duties of the job
Our quest is to completely eradicate preventable medication errors and provide a world-leading pharmacy service for our patients and organisation. Our technicians are key to the success of this journey and we aim to recruit the best, train the most effectively and keep the best (that's you by the way!). You will work hard with the rest of our team in delivering great service along the way.
Our starting point is mixed, we have some truly amazing pharmacy services which are already world-leading and some that we are working on to transition and improve. We are working to drive efficiency and to widely champion what Pharmacy contributes. Pharmacy Technicians are absolutely key to our vision.
