We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to work as part of our friendly and supportive Medical Workforce Team to support medical recruitment, within the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.

The post is based at Worthing Hospital with some travel to other UH Sussex sites.
Main duties of the job
You will be providing a comprehensive recruitment administration service to support medical recruitment, particularly in regard to recruitment to the medical bank, ensuring that recruitment is undertaken in a timely and professional way having regard for cost, quality, and Trust policy.
You will work closely with the Medical Workforce Manager, Strategic Temporary Staffing Manager and Clinical Leads to deliver the required medical locum bank recruitment for UHSussex.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support doctor recruitment for our temporary staff bank and ensure that doctors are fully compliant with their pre-employment checks and that we provide a customer focused temporary medical recruitment service. You will be responsible for drafting adverts, coordinating interviews, updating electronic staff records, liaising with the temporary staffing office and issuing temporary worker agreements.

- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
- Good working and practical knowledge or range of recruitment approaches and their appropriateness for specific needs.
- Up to date knowledge of recruitment employment law and requirements for pre-employment screening including immigration, references and DBS.
Desirable
- Knowledge of NHS terms and conditions for Staff
- Experience of working in Recruitment/Resourcing
- Worked as a recruiter in a complex organisation
- Knowledge of Electronic Staff Records and E-Rec
- Previous experience in an NHS HR or recruitment environment
