Job summary
The Medicine Division at Royal Sussex County Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital are looking for a Deputy Director of Operations. As Deputy Director of Operations for the Medicine Division (RSCH/PRH) you will support the Director of Operations in providing operational and managerial leadership to the Division, working in partnership with the Directorate Managers, Service Managers, Heads of Departments and other management and professional/clinical leads.

Main duties of the job
You will work as a key part of the senior Divisional management team, promoting effective governance, ensuring that the highest standards of clinical care are delivered and that all clinical and non-clinical performance indicators, targets and objectives are met in line with national and local standards.

You must have a proven track record of delivering efficient and effective clinical services in an acute hospital setting, with demonstrable experience of delivering organisational change, and a good understanding of lean management and continuous improvement practices.
