Job summary
Autonomous responsibility and accountability for providing a high-quality, professional and efficient medical secretarial service managing secretaries across East sites at UHSussex.
Responsible for the line management of all Medical Secretaries within Women & Children's including allocation of work, training and development, staff appraisal and recruitment and selection.

Main duties of the job
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide management and leadership to our Women and Children's Secretarial Teams working across UHS NHS Foundation Trust Eastern sites.
Accountable to the Operations Manager you will work closely with clinicians and Directorate teams to deliver a first class secretarial service.
The successful candidate will require excellent organisational skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, using their own initiative and be willing to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the Service.
