Job summary

As our Chief People Officer, you will share collective accountability for the delivery of our strategy and the development of the Trust, and play a key role in developing a cutting-edge People Directorate that is highly visible and responsive. We are in transition, so in this role you will help us to embed a truly positive culture - one in which we create a more empowered workforce and foster inclusion and promote diversity.

Main duties of the job

We're seeking a senior leader with significant people management experience within or outside healthcare, who brings a supportive, nurturing, and facilitative approach that allows others to come forward and succeed. You will have experience of leading organisational change and delivering transformation of an HR service. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of developing and implementing inclusive people and organisational development strategies, aligned with an organisation's vision.

  • Have been instrumental in developing talent and performance management programmes which allow organisations to retain and develop top talent during periods of major change and transformation
  • Possesswell-developed interpersonal skills and high levels of resilience,executive stature,and ability to connect with others at all levels. Critically,the job holder must have the ability to influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders whilst promoting collaboration that delivers the objectives of the Trust

Will evidence being able to contribute actively to an overall business with the credibility and stature to help the Trust transcend the current structure and keep pace with future developments and challenges.
