To support the development and implementation of high quality and up to date people policies, guidelines and tools which support the Trusts objectives, are in-line with the Trust's values and foster a culture trust, fairness and inclusion.
Working in conjunction with the HR Policy & ER Manager to provide a proactive approach to embedding continuous improvement mechanisms into people policies, processes and tools. Refresh and modernise our people policies and procedures, ensuring these reflect best practice and comply with new and existing legislation and case law.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including but not exclusively, senior managers, HR colleagues, Trades unions, and Staff Networks.
Main duties of the job
This role provides critical support to the HR Policy Manager across the portfolio of HR policy work, and involves detailed research for policy development, preparation of communication materials, supporting procedures, project documents, and the provision of advice to our HRBP's in both the resolution of complex queries and in the launch of new products.
You'll have opportunities to support the research, development, and creation of policies across our HR portfolio, work collaboratively with senior managers, unions, HR Business Partners and other expert service teams. With support, you will have the opportunity to take a lead on policy development and will be able to build your technical knowledge of policies across the employee lifecycle. You will also have opportunities to work with, and present to, a range of stakeholders across the Trust within and external to HR.
