We have an exciting opportunity within our Scheduling department for Clinical Scheduling Officers to join us at our Brighton Make Ready Centre

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring appropriate operational rotas are populated to deliver the required resources, liaising with the relevant managers and scheduling teams. You will ensure the delivery to meet the needs and demands of patients, filling all vacancies, training demands, and unplanned absences as required.

Job responsibilities

  • To ensure the delivery of 100% of planned to meet the needs and demands of patients.
  • Maintenance of GRS database for Clinical Operations Directorate staff, record hours, USH, absence and leave.
  • Use relief capacity to fill known, vacancies, training demands and absences.
  • Ensure the data held within the GRS database is correctly validated in line with agreed procedures.
  • Implement policies and procedures for resources in line with the Trusts plans and operational requirements.
  • Provide detailed staff availability/roster requirements to the relevant managers as required.
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis of staff absence to the Head of production as required.
  • Populate the annual leave planners and record within the GRS database, in line with agreed levels.
  • In liaison with the Training & Education co-ordinator to ensure the L&D commitments are scheduled.
  • Undertake any other work commensurate with the grade of the post
