- To act as the first point of contact, by greeting, welcoming and directing service users, parents/carers, staff and outside agencies either face to face or via the telephone.
- Notifying the appropriate staff and ensuring clients are met within a timely fashion.
- Maintain security and telephone communication systems.
- Managing use of clinical space within the building.
- Oversight of building maintenance.

Main duties of the job
- Manage all visitors, including clients and parents/carers who may be distressed to Bexley CAMHS in person in an appropriate and courteous manner.
- To operate the main switchboard, receive messages and take responsibility for the accurate recording and delivery of messages to the appropriate person.
- Manage building maintenance by booking jobs via the Trust's maintenance contractors and ensuring these are dealt with within the agreed timescale.
- Oversight of all room bookings via a computerised system ensuring clinical space is available at all times.
- To scan daily correspondence and distribute/disseminate as necessary.
- Record and handle incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Call emergency services if an incident occurs.
- Use of RIO database to ensure clients are directed to the correct clinician.
- Book/cancel clinical appointments for teams as instructed
- Operate an in/out security system for staff, clients and visitors.
- Ensure that the Waiting Room is being maintained to a high standard
- Undertake any other duties which may be required in discussion with your Admin Manager
- Order and manage the availability of water for clients/visitors in the reception area.
