Our healthcare teams resemble that of a community GP practice, with a specific healthcare building on the prison grounds. Our administration teams have their own office within the healthcare building and are made up of Admin Managers, PA's, Custodial Flow co-ordinators and Administrators.
We directly deliver Mental Health, Physical Health, Pharmacy and Clinical Substance Misuse in an integrated healthcare delivery model to provide effective and responsive care to improve wellbeing and support better outcomes in the future.

Main duties of the job
As an Administrator you will be providing an integrated comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the integrated health care services. You will be required to use independent judgement, work proactively without direct supervision and prioritise your own workload using your own initiative.
Your key duties will include:
- Typing and Word Processing: Providing copy/audio typing and word processing support for client-related reports, letters, discharge summaries, and legal documentation.
- Correspondence Management: Handle incoming correspondence daily, ensuring urgent items are brought to the team's attention.
- Statistical Reporting: Prepare and present statistical returns as necessary.
- Administrative Support: Arrange medical staff and practitioner rotas, organise meetings, and support the team with administrative procedures.
- Meeting Participation: Attend and participate in meetings, including minute-taking and administrative follow-up.
- General Administrative Duties: Manage diaries, photocopy, fax, monitor and order stationery/clinical items, and handle routine and urgent matters with minimal supervision.
- Electronic Systems Usage: Use electronic clinical record systems (SystmOne), email, intranet, Internet, and Microsoft packages.
