Job summary
The ICT Department are seeking to fill a vacancy for friendly and enthusiastic administrator with good customer service skills.This role will involve providing routine user support of the Trust's clinical IT systems, providing first time fix solutions to systems related incidents recorded via the IT Service Desk and be responsible for ensuring all users are registered and issued with a Smartcard with the appropriate role.
The post holder must have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of computer literacy on software packages such as Excel, Word and information systems
- Administration experience
- Meticulous attention to detail
Main duties of the job
Tasks will include:
- Setting up and amending new user accounts, teams and clinics and security as requested
- Providing end user support by understanding and interpreting the complex issues presented by users to best assess an appropriate response
- Checking proof of ID documentation for individual members of staff
- Taking photographs of members of staff
- Enter data into clinical IT systems and the Card Management System with extreme accuracy and to deadlines
- Print Smart Cards to an acceptable standard
- Setting up appointments
