Job summary

We are seeking to appoint an experienced podiatrist to work within the Bexley Community High Risk Podiatry team.

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible podiatrist to join our friendly and dedicated team at Oxleas. Thisrole will involve working across sites; community and acute.

Applicants must be registered with the HCPC and have a degree in Podiatry with a Local Anaesthesia certificate. It is essential that you have the ability to work flexibly, and you should be a driver with access to a car for work purposes.

Main duties of the job

Our service delivers comprehensive high risk podiatry care to the residents of Bexley.

You will be involved in the assessment and planning of individual patient care, working independently and as part of a team, so excellent communication, diagnostic, and team building skills are essential.

We deliver patient care to a variety of clinical settings including community health centres, patients homes and residential / care homes. You will be responsible for undertaking advanced diabetes foot care in line with NICE guidance and associated care planning and risk management.

This role also requires you to undertaken line management responsibilities including recruitment, health roster, complaints investigations and performance reviews.
