An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Young Greenwich School Nursing team.
Young Greenwich is a new integrated programme commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The programme is led by Oxleas and delivered with partners Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) who together with METRO form the Young Greenwich Partnership.
Young Greenwich will deliver seamlessly in and out of schools, youth hubs and other community venues with strong pathways for pupils in schools into community-based activities and support and vice versa.
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic delivering the healthy child programme and model of community health across schools in Greenwich. We are looking for a Staff Nurse that possess excellent communication skills and have a forward thinking approach to new ways of working within our partnership in youth hubs including developing the parenting support with our Health Advisors.
You must be a registered nurse, with a working knowledge of safeguarding, team-working and excellent IT skills. In addition, applicants must have a current driving license with access to a car for work.

To deliver aspects of the 5-19 Healthy Child Programme.
To improve and promote the health of all children and young people in Greenwich.
To support children and young people to realise their potential in health, education / training (where applicable), and their contribution to the wider community.

About us
Oxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings. Our services include community health care such as district nursing and speech and language therapy, care for people with learning disabilities and mental health care such as psychiatry, nursing and therapies.
