Job summary
Due to numerous projects being undertaken, including the deployment of a Trust auditing tool an opportunity has arisen within the Trust for 2 Project Support Officers to work in the Digital Transformation team.
We are seeking skilled, motivated people to work with our project managers and ACCIO's (Associate Chief Clinical Information Officers) on the delivery of various digital projects supporting our Digital Transformation Strategy. The projects within the programme are crucial to the Trust realising its goal of promoting innovation and redesigning services to deliver care that is tailored to individual patient needs.
The key focus of the roles are to supportorganisational and behavioural change within our clinical services. The successful candidates will engage with staff to redesign current systems, processes and working practices in order to maximise the benefits that implementing technology can offer, while ensuring all project paperwork is correctly completed and in order, with a strong emphasis on communication and engagement, as well as the documenting the benefits achieved.
These are exciting opportunities for people who are interested in supporting change within an organisation. These posts would suit someone with strong organisational skills and a particular interest in communications.
You will be based at Pinewood House, Dartford, but you will need to travel to other bases across the trust and there is likely to be some home working opportunities.
Main duties of the job
- Develop and maintain effective communication with the Project Manager and project team, including trust advisors to support the delivery of the projects.
- Particular focus on Communications workstream for projects
- Prioritise verbal and written communication requests to ensure urgent enquiries are dealt with
- Draft responses on behalf of the Project Manager and ACCIO's on matters relating to projects including the preparation of board papers and team meeting papers.
- Co-ordinate and arrange meetings ensuring the resources required are available for the running of meetings.
- Provide administrative support as required to support the running of meetings
- Manage the project manager's or ACCIO's diary and support with general admin tasks
- Ensure all interested parties are informed of changes to project plans and arrangements for meetings.
- Act as a point of contact for the project with Trust staff, external suppliers and any other bodies.
- Ensure that all written information relating to the project is received, logged and acted upon in a timely fashion.
- Collation and production of project documents, including but not limited to routine project reports including risks and issues logs
- Under the guidance of the project manager or ACCIO act as lead on one or more specific work streams to support the overall delivery of projects and develop project management skills further.
