Greenwich Children's Integrated Therapies - Speech & Language Therapy Service are looking to appoint a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist.
There are opportunities to work within the School Years service in both mainstream schools and Autism Designated Specialist Provisions. We will work with the successful applicant to build a role that meets their interests and development needs.
There is the opportunity for professional development with the support of a large team of therapists & assistants. You will have access to admin, managerial & clinical support.

Main duties of the job
The Greenwich Children's Integrated Therapies - Speech and Language Therapy service offer a range of services across three sub-teams: Early Years, School Years and Special Schools. Clinical specialist expertise is available across the whole service and includes: AAC, ASD, Deafness, DLD, Phonology, Dysphagia and SEMH. As the post holder you will:
- independently manage a caseload whilst utilising knowledge and skills of colleagues
- have opportunity to refine both assessment and intervention skills
- work as part of a team with teachers, outreach services and other health professionals
- support parent/carers and children/young people in all issues related to clinical care with support from more experienced colleagues
- provide a specialist clinical and advisory Speech and Language Therapy service to children and young people with diverse speech, language and communication needs
- work with Principal and Highly Specialist colleagues leading on Service Improvement Plans
