Job summary
An exciting opportunity has come up to join the prestigious plastic surgery department at Queen Victoria Hospital within the rota management team. This is a busy and rewarding role which supports the management of our medical workforce rotas. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about administration with strong organisational and problem solving skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the production of compliant rotas for the Plastic surgery Department. Ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the clinical rota system supporting the manager and working together closely on a daily basis.
Responsible for building rotas and ensuring all service commitments (theatres and clinics) are fully staffed, with any staffing gaps covered or escalated in a timely manner.
Responsible for advising the plastics team and the wider hospital of any changes or alterations to the rota.
To be one of the first points of contact to support all clinical staff with rota queries, and act to resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
