Job summary
We are a 5 bedded Critical Care Unit. We care for a variety of different specialities - reconstructive plastic surgery, reconstructive head & neck cancer surgery, maxillofacial trauma and major burn patients requiring HDU / ITU level of care.
Rotation on to night duties is a requirement of the role.
Main duties of the job
You must have at least 2 years experience in Critical Care and have completed the critical care course. In return for your intensive care expertise we will support you in learning the specialities within our unit through education and experience.
As a unit we are a well-resourced speciality and offer excellent career development opportunities to develop both professionally and personally; we encourage and support our nurses to actively contribute to our continuing development. We encourage participation in Simulation training.
